An eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon get closer and closer to where they meet in the sky and align perfectly with the Nodes of Fate.

The Nodes of Fate are the points where the Moon’s orbit crosses the path of the Sun. In astrology, they are referred to as our South Node and North Node.

The South Node - directly opposite your North Node - is what we came into this life with, what is familiar, our gifts, patterns, conditioning and our karma.

Light a candle.

Thank the things that maybe once were a part of you. Thank them for the part they played in your life, the purpose they served.

And with gratitude we say goodbye.

In a safe container, burn your paper.

Burn your things.

Burn what has completed.

A door closes so a new one can open.

The eclipse asks you to expand. To take up space.

To choose courage when fear asks you to shrink.
